The joining piece (4) for two cable ends consists of two parts. One part (6) consists of a sleeve (12) guiding the cable (3) whose end contains a ball joint (7). The other part (5) consists of a body (9) containing a female enclosure (8) with radial end claws (20) which are deformable. The ball joint engages in the female enclosure and the deformable end claws are held in position by a spring (34) operated locking ring (30).
