The adjuster consists of a housing (1), which is fixed onto the piece of furniture that encloses the locking mechanism of the foot. This is in the form of a lever (3) held by a compression spring (4), both of which are traversed by the adjustable foot (5). The top of the foot contains a stop and the base is in the form of a concave surface (8) so that it is able to stand on an incline. The foot (5) is guided vertically in a sleeve (6).
