PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue a hold state even after holding regardless of the decrease of a power supply voltage. SOLUTION: When a microcomputer is turned into a hold state due to the decrease of a power supply voltage VDD, the data of a program counter 3, RAM 4, and stack pointer 5 are written and saved in a non-volatile memory 9 electrically erasable in a batch. When the hold state is released, the data are read from the non-volatile memory 9, and set in the program counter 3, RAM 4, and stack pointer 5, and the operation of the microcomputer is continued from the state just before the hold state after the hold state is released. |
