OPERATION METHOD OF BATCH TYPE FURNACE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an operation method of a batch type furnace which enables higher heat efficiency. SOLUTION: This operation method of a batch type furnace 1 employs a force exhaust gas circulation system which is adapted to mix a part of an exhaust gas discharged from the batch type furnace 1 with air for combustion of a burner 11. The flow rate of a fuel supplied to the burner 11 is controlled according to a predetermined heat pattern while the supply flow rate of the exhaust gas to be mixed with the air for combustion is determined to control based on the temperature of the batch type furnace 1 while the supply flow rate of air for combustion is determined to control based on the supply flow rate of the exhaust gas and the burner 11 accomplish a combustion at a specified air/fuel ratio.
