<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a display defect of a picture element electrode without reducing the yield. SOLUTION: A redundant circuit 35 is formed when a dot defect of a transparent picture element electrode 15 due to a defect of a thin film transistor is repaired. A connection layer 36 for redundancy of a signal line 10 and a connection layer 36 for redundancy of a signal line 39 for redundancy are irradiated with laser to electrically connect the connection layer 36 for redundancy, the signal line 39 for redundancy, and a projecting part 38 of the signal line 10. The current of the signal line 10 flows in the route of the projecting part 38 of the signal line 10, the connection layer 36 for redundancy, the signal line 39 for redundancy, and a transparent picture element electrode 15. The signal line 10 and the transparent picture element electrode 15 have the same potential, and a luminescent point or an extinction point of the transparent picture element electrode 15 can be made into a half-luminescent point. Since the periphery of the connection layer 36 for redundancy can be tapered, the yield is not reduced regardless of formation of the redundant circuit 35.</p> |
