PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation device for enabling a user to easily confirming an advancing direction at the intersection of each enlarged map even when the enlarged maps of a plurality of intersections are shown. SOLUTION: A navigation device is provided with a means for displaying a road map that indicates a position and displays each enlarged map near the intersection at the map display means (S14) when a position shown on a road map is located near a plurality of continuous intersections (S4). The device is provided with a means for detecting the number of enlarged maps to be displayed on the map display means (S6), a means for determining a size for displaying the enlarged map on the map display means (S8), a means for comparing the determined size with a specific size (S10), and a means (S22) for displaying a figure for indicating an advancing direction on the map display means instead of the enlarged map when the determined size is smaller according to the comparison result (S12). |
