摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a navigation apparatus capable of display considering a distance from a present position to each spot, when a spot list is displayed, by installing a running body present position measuring means, a spot data storing means and a spot list displaying means. SOLUTION: An on-board navigation system 100 consists of a geomagnetism sensor 1 outputting its own advance azimuth data, an angular velocity sensor 2 outputting angular velocity data at the time of rotation, a distance sensor 3 outputting a run distance from the number of revolution of a shaft, a GPS receiver 4 outputting GPS positioning data, a system controller 5 controlling the whole of navigation system on the basis of data of azimuth, angular velocity, distance, and GPS positioning, a drive 12 reading and outputting various kinds of data from a data input apparatus 11 and a CD-ROM disk DK, and a display unit 12 displaying the data. When a user selects a map note mode, a place name selection picture image is displayed. A place name list, a user library place, and data of a destination and path spots are sequentially displayed, so that a desired spot can be easily selected.
