PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sure individual identification method for reducing the storage capacity of fingerprint information of an IC card system. When the IC card is used, approaching to a reader is performed, it is inserted, the fingerprint 13 of a user is inputted and redundant data, based on the fingerprint of the user are obtained by the redundant data generation 8 from the obtained fingerprint data 7 of the user.
