PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid polymer type fuel cell system which can reduce or eliminate the adverse effects of water fed from an auxiliary water tank. SOLUTION: This solid polymer type fuel cell system has a fuel cell main body 3 supplied with fuel gas and an oxidizer such as air to generate power, a main water tank 19 for circulating and supplying water to the fuel cell main body 3, and an auxiliary water tank 17 for replenishing the main water tank 19 with water. Exhaust from the fuel cell main body 3 is made to pass through the auxiliary water tank 17. |
