PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optionally designate a voice message in response to an operating state of a caller side and to inform a caller of it among a plurality of kinds of voice messages to be informed of the caller destination provided to the communication equipment. SOLUTION: When a CPU detects the arrival of a call signal from a caller (S1: YES), the CPU generates a call tone through a speaker (S2). When a desired message is designated among a plurality of kinds of messages stored in a RAM through an entry operation by a ten-key or the like (S4: YES), the CPU informs the caller of the designated message and allows the RAM to record a voice replied from the caller receiving the notice.
