PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radio communication device as a mobile terminal of a micro cell system where possibility of incomplete communication due to unsuccessful hand-over is discriminated and it is displayed and warned for a user at the start of communication during movement. SOLUTION: A radio communication device is provided with a timer section 108 that counts time when the device is resident in an area in a standby state; a transfer area identification code storage section 109 that adds and stores a resident time in an original area and the identification code of the base station of a transfer destination area when the device moves to a different area; an area transfer frequency discrimination section 110 that discriminates whether or not the area transfer frequency of the radio communication device indicates a hand-over available frequency based on a set of the resident time and the identification code stored in the transfer area identification code storage section 109; and a display section 111 that displays whether or not communication with hand-over is available. Whether or not hand-over of communication is available is discriminated based on the frequency of area transfer in a standby state that indicates a state of before-call-transmission.
