<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To relieve the burden of an operator for the temporary-stop or re-start of display by providing a screen and a display control means for dynamically displaying display information such as characters and pictures from an external part on the screen and also temporarily stopping dynamic display based on control information from the external part. SOLUTION: A host computer 5 being an external device outputs control information such as a condition for temporarily stopping display, etc., to a picture display device 4 together with display information such as the characters and pictures, etc., to be displayed to a picture display device 4. The device 4 receives these kinds of information with a communication controller 6, stores display information in a display information memory 7 and stores control information in a control information memory 1. MPU 8 copies picture data to be displayed on the screen from a picture storing memory 10 to a screen picture memory 11 on demand. Then, the memory 11 is referred and a graphic controller 12 displays the picture on a display screen 13.</p> |
