<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an inserting needle from being exposed and protruded from a needle outlet hole, by checking the backward sliding of a guide body by means of a locking mechanism even when the guide body is retreated by mistake or the guide body starts to be retreated by collision with an external object. SOLUTION: A base material detecting tool is provided with a switching member 11 which is provided to a handle body 1 in such a way that the member 11 can rotationally move forward and backward by a prescribed angle in the peripheral direction between a locking position and canceling position, and an unlockable locking mechanism 10 which checks the backward sliding of a guide body by rotationally operating the switching member 11. Therefore, the safety of the base detecting tool can be improved by avoiding the risk which is encountered when the tool is used and, at the same time, the workability of the detecting work can be improved, because the the tool can be locked an unlocked by only rotationally moving the switching member 11 forward and backward by a prescribed angle in the peripheral direction.</p> |
