PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time-of-flight mass spectrometer, capable of obtaining mass spectra of all product ions with few repetitions and with high sensitivity in MS/MS measurement. SOLUTION: This time-of-flight mass spectrometer consists of an ion source 1, a first flight tube 3, an ion gate 4, a reflectron 5, a second flight tube 6, and a detector 7, and a potential difference is produced between the ion source 1 and the first flight tube 3 for accelerating the ions, and a potential difference is also produced between the first flight tube 3 and the reflectron 5 for accelerating the ions again. |
