PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable fitting in spite of a little deviation in the center axis of a bare optical fiber and the guide groove of a receptacle and also to improve a reliability and a workability on an optical module by fixing the bare optical fiber fixed to a housing to the receptacle by means of a rotary operation and inducing the bare optical fiber to the guide groove of the receptacle with a taper-shaped inclining guide groove. SOLUTION: When the housing 4 and the receptacle 2 are mutually connected, the housing 4 is constituted so as to execute a rotary operation with one end part 71 of a base part 7 as a center. Then, the bare optical fiber 31 is gradually made to approach the base part 7 of the receptacle 2 in an inclining state and the taper-shaped inclining guide groove 9 communicating with the guide groove 8 is formed on the upper surface of one end part 71 of the bas part 7 being a place where the optical fiber enters in the guide groove. Thus, the fiber 31 is easily guided by the guide groove 8 and is not destroyed in spite of a little deviation in the correlative position between the fiber 3 and the groove 8. |
