PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To emit light beams in parallel on a polarized flat surface, to reduce the number of parts and the size of an optical pickup device by providing a structure in which the emitted light beams of a light emitting element pass through a spectroscopic means, are emitted through a diffraction grating and irradiate an object body. SOLUTION: A semiconductor block 13 is arranged on an integrated circuit substrate 11, and a semiconductor light emitting element 14 is arranged on the block 13. On the other hand, first light receiving elements 15a and 15b and a second light receiving element 17 are formed on the substrate 11. A beam splitter 16 is mounted on the elements 15a, 15b and 17 to constitute an integrated laser coupler 10a, which is stored in a flat package 20 and sealed by transparent glass 21. An optical element 22, on which a diffraction grating 18 and a hologram 19 are formed, is mounted on the glass 21 surface which is the outgoing port of laser light beams L. Thus, parts such as a reflection mirror are not required, and the number of parts and the size are reduced. |
