PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability of an inverter apparatus, making any large- sized snubber circuit unnecessary by providing in it an inverter circuit for turning on or off a predetermined number of switching elements to convert an inputted DC power thereto into an AC power of a predetermined frequency, and by providing in it second electrolytic capacitors for smoothing the voltage change of the DC power. SOLUTION: An inverter apparatus has a converter unit 2 and an inverter unit 30. The converter unit 2 has first electrolytic capacitors 6 for smoothing the output voltage of a rectifying circuit for changing an AC voltage into a DC voltage to convert an inputted AC power to it into a DC power. The inverter unit 30 has an inverter circuit in which a predetermined number of switching elements are provided, they are turned on or off to convert the inputted DC power to it into an AC power of a predetermined frequency, and has second electrolytic capacitors 60 for smoothing the voltage change of the DC power. Also, a wiring is performed such that the inductance present between the inverter circuit and the first electrolytic capacitors 6 is made nearly equal to the inductance present between the inverter circuit and the second electrolytic capacitors 60. |
