PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the color tone of the display image of an image display device used in common to a desired color tone corresponding to the kind of an image information output device. SOLUTION: In order to change the color tone of the display image based on image information SO obtained by the respective image information output devices to the desired color tone corresponding to the respective devices in a display device 2, LUTs 21a-21d for correcting the image information SO corresponding to the respective devices are prepared in a color tone correction LUT 21. A selection means 22 reads the kind of the device from the auxiliary information of the image information SO and inputs the information S1 to the color tone correction LUT 21. The color tone correction LUT 21 uses the LUT selected by the selection means 22, changes the signal level of the image information S0 for respective chrominance signals RGB and inputs image signals S2 after change to an image display means 30. |
