PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the preparation method of a three-dimensional object model in which the smooth curved surface and edge part of an object are faithfully reconstituted. SOLUTION: In this preparation method of the three-dimensional object model by virtually moving the grid point of a polyhedron composed of plural polygons to a position near a point on the surface of the object and preparing the three- dimensional object model, in the case that the difference of the normal vector of the adjacent polygons of the polyhedron is smaller than a prescribed value, the position of the grid point is virtually moved so as to make the difference of the normal vector smaller. On the other hand, in the case that the difference of the normal vector of the adjacent polygons of the polyhedron is larger than the prescribed value, the difference of the normal vector is neglected, the position of the grid point is virtually moved and the three-dimensional object model is prepared. |
