PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the decline of the working rate of an automatic teller machine by discriminating paper money forgotten to be taken for respective customers even when return paper money is forgotten to be taken in plural transactions. SOLUTION: This automatic teller machine is provided with a paper money number recognition part 5 for reading the number of the paper money forgotten to be taken and a memory 6 for recording the paper money number read by the paper money number recognition part 5 together with the information of the transaction. In the case that the return paper money is forgotten to be taken, the number of the paper money forgotten to be taken is read in the paper money number recognition part 5 and the read number is stored in the memory 6 together with the transaction information. Thus, even in the case that the return paper money is forgotten to be taken for plural times, the return paper money is discriminated for the respective customers. |
