PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel balance weight by which a locking member for locking a weight body to a rim can be simply attached and fixed. SOLUTION: A wheel balance weight is composed of a weigh body 1 and a locking member 3 which is fixed at its one end to the weight body 1 and is opened at the other end thereof so as to clamp the peripheral edge part of the rim of a wheel. The locking member 3 is made of a metal plate by pressing so as to be curved in an arcuate sectional shape at least at it's the other end part. The weight body 1 has a locking hole 11 in which the one end part of the locking member 3 is inserted and fixed. The wheel balance weight is prevented from coming off since the locking member having a protrusion is inserted in a locking hole formed in the weight body so that the protrusion is caught by the locking hole. Accordingly, it is possible to eliminate the necessity of precise positioning and extra manhours, thereby exhibits the effect of reducing the manufacturing cost. |
