PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect abnormality of data which possibly causes a difference between the time shown by presentation time information and the time when data is actually shown. SOLUTION: A voice decoder 33A after starting showing data according to starting presentation time information (PTS) presents the data successively. Further, the voice decoder 33A detects a synchronizing word added to each audio frame and outputs an output signal S1. A PTS latch circuit 51 temporarily stores the PTS of the latest voice and outputs it to a phase comparator 53. An STC(system time clock) latch circuit 52 outputs a signal showing the output time of the STC of the output signal S1 from the voice decoder 53 to the phase comparator 53. The phase comparison part 53 compares the output time of the output signal S1 outputted by the STC latch circuit 52 with the PTS outputted by the PTS latch circuit 51 to monitor the time relation between the output time of the output signal S1 and the PTS.
