PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety plug capable of preventing an overcurrent accident, and easily applicable to the power source cord of an existent electric apparatus without modification. SOLUTION: A safety plug 10 is put between the plug 3 of a power source and a power source outlet 5, and is provided with a receiving member 13 receiving the plug 3, an insertion member 14 inserted into the power source outlet 5, and a conduction member 15 connecting the receiving member 13 and the insertion member 14. A fuse 15b shuts off a current when the current exceeding a reference value flows in the conduction member 15 is disposed. Thereby, the overcurrent accident can be prevented, and it can be easily applicable to the power source cord of an existent electric apparatus without modification. |
