摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire which prevents insulation deterioration of a terminal block caused by heat from a lamp and which reduces the cost of wires by making the wires between the terminal block and a socket as short as possible. SOLUTION: A luminaire main body 2 has a top board part 2a, side plate parts 2b formed in connection with the top board part 2a, and an opening 2c opposite to the top board part 2a, and a terminal block 6 to which an external power wire is connected is placed on the side face part 2b at the side of the top board part 2a. A reflector 3 having a reflecting surface 3a formed of aluminum as a mirror surface and a socket slot 3b formed to penetrate a part of the reflecting surface 3a is placed within the luminaire main body 2, the reflecting surface 3a being pointed toward the opening 2c in the luminaire main body 2, and the socket slot 3b being formed to point to the terminal block 5 in such a manner that it does not directly face the terminal block 5. A socket 4 is placed within a space in the luminaire main body 2 which is surrounded by the reflector 3, the top board part 2a, and the side face parts 2b, in such a way that the socket 4 adjoins to the socket slot 3b. A lamp 5 is mounted in the socket 4. Wires 8, 8 are brought out from the socket 4 and connected to the terminal block 6.
