PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an economical and easy-to-manufacture lighting system which does not sacrifice the degree of freedom of layout for the indoor space or rear trunk space, etc., of an automobile or the like and which is not limited as to the selectability of reflector materials. SOLUTION: A surface light emitting body 1 has V-projections 11 of V-shaped cross sections, which are aligned on the lower surface A thereof, and is made to emit light by light received from a light source unit 3 via a light distributing body 2. The light distributing body 2 supplies the light to the surface light emitting body 1. The light source unit 3 is arranged in proximity to the light distributing body 2 and outputs the light used to allow the surface light emitting body 1 to emit the light. The light outputted from the light source is thus brought out to the surface light emitting body 1 via the light distributing body 2 to enable the light source to be separated from the surface light emitting body. |
