<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively cut a brittle or fragile material by providing a solid horn extending in the longitudinal direction of ultrasonic vibration, a plurality of tubular spacer horns surrounding the solid horn, cutting blades fixed between the vibrating end faces of the adjacent tubular spacer horns, and the like. SOLUTION: An ultrasonic cutting device is provided with a base horn 10 with a front face 10a, and a solid horn 11 made of a high titanium alloy with a length of six half-wavelengths. One end 12 of the horn 11 is fixed by thread- fastening an external thread part provided at one end 12 to the base horn 10. The horn 11 is fitted at its outer periphery with six tubular spacer horns 16 made of a high titanium alloy, through a bearing tube 15 to which the tubular spacer horns 16 are fittingly mounted with blades 19 interposed in between, and a nut 14 with a length of one half-wavelength is thread-fastened to the other end 13 of the horn 11 to integrally fix them. Lips 17 are formed at the ends of the adjacent tubular spacer horns 16 so that fastening by the nut 14 is stably performed.</p> |
