PURPOSE: To provide a tool correcting device, by which holding force of a tool holder relative to a spindle is high at the time of cutting. CONSTITUTION: A tapered hole 37 is formed in an adaptor 36 on the tip of a spindle 5, a tapered part 32b fitted in the tapered hole 37 is formed at a tool holder 32, and plural steel balls 38 are intervened between the tapered part 32b and the tapered hole 37 to support the tool holder 32 to the spindle 5. A spring 44 for energizing the tool holder 32 to the rear, is provided between the rear end face of the adaptor 36 and the fitting part 32a of the tool holder 32. |
