PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a program whose broadcast time is in duplicate with other reserved program from being reserved. SOLUTION: When a viewer tries to reserve a program of a program name B that is to be broadcast from 8:00 to 10:00 on December 4 but other program had already been reserved for a time zone in duplicate with the broadcast time of the program B, the time zone of the other program in duplicate with the time zone of the program B is retrieved, based on information stored in the information processing unit. Then a reservation confirmation message to inform the viewer of shifted reservation to a broadcast time of the program B that is not in duplicate with that of the other program that is retrieved and having already been reserved, e.g. 18:00-20:00 on December 6 is displayed and the program B is reserved on the displayed time zone.
