<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To complement even plural words or characters which are omitted in the sentences. SOLUTION: This document processing device includes a character input device, a character display device to display the inputted character and a processor which performs the conversion and editing of the inputted characters. Furthermore, a word dictionary is added to the processing device to store the words and their use frequencies together with an inter-word transition dictionary which contains the inter-word transition information and the inter-word transition probability, a candidate word extraction means 151 which extracts the candidates of omitted words from the characters existing before and after an omission symbol included in an inputted sentence by referring to the word dictionary, and a decision means 152 which decides one of candidate words which are extracted based on the inter-word transition dictionary as an optimum candidate.</p> |
