A display apparatus is engaged with a fluid pump filler gun. The filler gun includes in sequence a barrel, a gun head, and a handle, a flexible boot (50) covering the gun head. The flexible boot has a flanged platform (52) protruding from the upper surface. The display apparatus for the fluid gun comprises a message display platform (58) having an upper side (60) and a lower side (62). The upper side of the message display platform has a surface area that is larger than an area of the flanged platform on the flexible boot. The lower side of the display apparatus is engageable with the flanged platform. The message display apparatus of this invention provides a much larger display surface without changing the flanged boot, and enhances an appealing effect to the users of the fluid pump filler gun.
