Heating and ventilation system for dwelling units in multiple-family houses

The system has a central device for producing thermal energy (22) and decentral distribution devices associated with the dwelling units (24) for requirement-dependent distribution of the thermal energy to individual areas (rooms) of the dwelling units. A central module (26) associated with each dwelling unit routes the required thermal energy from the central heat generation system and passes it to individual dwelling unit areas according to a selectable setting. The module is connected to fresh air supply system (28) for delivering air to the dwelling unit and simultaneously feeds waste air (36) from the dwelling area to a central air extraction system.
