The method involves determining a first input temperature to a heating circuit in one operating state, driving the mixer to achieve a desired temperature change direction, determining a second inlet temperature forming a temperature difference between the two measured inlet temperature values, maintaining the relationship between the direction of change of the inlet temperature and the control drive direction if the temperature difference has a defined sign and reversing the relationship if the temperature difference has the opposite sign. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for implementing the method.
