The channeling has an inserted component (2) that axially moves an inner cable within it. A multi-stranded section (3) surrounds the outer surface of the insert. A jacket (4) surrounds the stranded section. By carefully controlling the relationship between the number of strands and their diameter, a high polar geometrical moment of inertia can be guaranteed.
