PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a process for producing a reformed gasoline which has a sufficiently high octane number. requiring no octane number improver to be added while having a low benzene content, and obtain a low-benzene-content reformed gasoline. SOLUTION: This process for producing a low-benzene-content reformed gasoline comprises a first step for separating naphtha into a 6C or lower fraction and a 7C or higher fraction, a second step for catalytically reforming the resultant 7C or higher fraction, a third step for separating the resultant catalytically reformed oil into a 6C or lower fraction and a 7C or higher fraction, and a fourth step for hydrogenating those 6C or lower fractions in the presence of a catalyst comprising platinum and cerium carried by zeolite Y or a catalyst comprising platinum carried byβ-zeolite to thereby isomers benzene contained in those 6C or lower fractions.
