A playback device (1) for a storage plate (1). The inventive device provides greater attenuation of vibrations of said storage plate (1) that occur perpendicular to the plane of said plate. The playback device (1) comprises a first plate (6) and a second plate (4). The storage plate (1) can be placed in between the first (6) and second plate (4). The storage plate (1) and the first plate (6) are arranged at a given distance (20) from each other in a given area (15). The distance (20) and area (15) are selected in such a way that if the playback device (10) is subjected to any vibrations arising approximately perpendicular to the planes of the plates and the acceleration remains below a given value, the amplitude of a vibration arising from the outer edge (30) of the memory plate (1) in relation to a central point (35) of the storage plate is lower than that of a given value (40).
