The instrument has a switch (172) and a correction system, to controlling an autofocusing system, depending on the operation of the switch, to correct the focusing position of an image. In a first focusing position, an object is focused with a first distance. In a second focusing position, an object is focused with half the first distance. The focusing control system includes a focusing sensor, a lens position detector (174) and a computing system for position and distance computations.
