The invention relates to a coating method to be used in known processes for producing and contacting high temperature supraconductive (HTS) strip conductors. The inventive method prevents the strip conductors from sticking (together) in the usual annealing process and simplifies the contact soldering process. A special aluminium oxide is selected for the coating. This is applied in a chosen suspension and can be easily removed again for soldering.
