<p>An implant formulation for the sustained release of a biologically active agent, including an effective amount of abamectin dissolved in or mixed with a carrier such as PEG 20000 which is solid or semi-solid at normal room temperature and pressure, but which melts at temperatures between 35 °C and 100 °C. An implant for delivering said formulation into a human or animal body and a method of making said implant and in addition a method for providing for the sustained release of an active agent into a human or animal body.</p> |
