Thermo-photovoltaic (TPV) generator of electricity

The burner is surrounded by a radiator (1), opposite which are fitted one or more photocells (2). The combustion air (3) passes through the space (4) between the radiator and photocells prior to its feed to the burner for the fuel (5) combustion. Combustion air flows first over the surface of the photocells away from the radiation. The burner and photocells are typically in the form of concentric cylinders. Alternatively they may be of planar shape.
