<p>The present invention pertains to techniques for the thermal processing of loose food products, and relates to a method that involves placing the product in a hearth which is mounted on a base so as to be capable of rotation in a plane perpendicular to the bottom. The product is heated by contact with the heated hearth and/or from above due to the action of thermal radiation generated by an infrared heater which is capable of displacement relative to said hearth. The product is then stirred using a mixer which is capable of displacement relative to the hearth. When the fat-removing process is completed, the mixer is removed from the hearth, together with the infrared heater in case the latter has been used, the hearth is turned over and the whole volume of the fat-free product is discharged from said hearth. The device of the present invention comprises a base (1), a hearth (2), a mixer (4) with a drive unit (7), and a heater (10). The hearth (2) is mounted on the base (1) so as to be capable of rotation in a plane perpendicular to the bottom. The mixer (4) is mounted above the bottom of the hearth (2) on a frame (6) which is in turn mounted on the base (1) so as to be capable of rotation and/or linear displacement. The heater (10) is mounted on the hearth (2) under the bottom thereof or on the base (1), and/or consists of an infrared heater (11) which is mounted above the hearth (2) on a frame (6).</p> |
