PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically adjust a clock from a power-saving standby state by automatically adjusting the clock when shifting from the power-saving standby state with lower power consumption than that of a power-off state to a power-on state. SOLUTION: In a VTR, a clock automatic adjustment state 105 on power- saving recovery and a power-saving clock automatic adjustment standby state 106 are added to a power-on state 101, a pseudo power-off clock automatic adjustment state 102, a power-off state 103, and a power-saving standby state 104, thus automatically adjusting a clock when recovering from the power-saving standby state 104 to the power-on state 101. As a result, power consumption in the power-saving standby state 104 can be set within the standard. Also, the clock is automatically adjusted after the power-saving clock automatic adjustment standby state 106, thus suppressing the number of automatic adjustment of the clock being performed along with power-on operation to once a week. |
