<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data converting device which can convert two kind of data, i.e., voice data and a start signal into a single AAL(asynchronous transfer mode adaptation layer) 1 frame and transmit it. SOLUTION: This data converting device digitizes the voice signal and start signal inputted from a local terminal 6 by a voice conversion part 56 and an SS signal processing part 55, respectively, multiplexes the digitized signals by a multiplexing part 53 to generate and send out frames after conversion to an ALL1 form by an AAL1 frame processing part 51, and separates received frames by a separation part 52 and generates and outputs their analog signals to the local terminal 6 through the voice conversion part 56 and an SR signal processing part 54.</p> |
