LASER SYSTEM CONTROL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser control device which enables ramping control of the output power of laser beam of a solid diode laser. SOLUTION: A laser control device 12 comprises a control console 44 provided with a touch screen which a laser operator uses as an interface to use a control device 12 for controlling laser 10 and laser parameter. The control console 44 comprises a target monitor 50 wherein the operator can reduce beam intensity to view laser beam for alignment and beam quality. The laser control device 12 further comprises a computer 14 comprising a counter circuit 20 for outputting the signal for setting pulse width and pulse rate of laser beam output.
