Any smoke alarm can be converted into a dual one that can detect both smoke and gas (without changing the parameters and performances of the original smoke alarm) with the help of the circuit proposed in the present document: The unit described below presents the advantage to detect both carbonic gas and smoke without using two distinct detectors. The apparatus may be used in industrial spaces, dwellings, trailers and holiday wagons, any place where there is the possibility of a carbonic gas leak or of smoke. This one apparatus assures thus a double protection. |
