Material with rectangular honeycombs is extruded, cut to the length required by the thickness of the glazing installation, and wrapped in a stabilizing film to give a block. A number of blocks are stacked and wrapped with a film to provide stability and close off the ends of the honeycomb passages. An independent claim is included for a honeycomb block assembly (4) with the stabilizing film appreciable thicker than the material of the honeycomb. The material used to wrap the blocks together can be shrink film.
