Remote-controlled adjustable lamp

The desk lamp has a receiver (E) for reception of remote-control setting signals (FS) for adjusting the position of the lamp, provided by a remote control transmitter (F), e.g. a television receiver remote control. The received remote control signals are evaluated by a control device (ST) within the lamp and used for controlling at least one electric stepping motor (M), for adjusting the position of the lamp via a control cord (SL).
