摘要 The injector has solenoid-controlled direct injection valves, each with a valve-controlled feed pipe and spring chamber. A pipe (14) connecting feed pipe (10) and chamber (11) contains a throttle (15). When an unacceptably long injection time occurs, due to injection valve (1) faults, the pressure in the spring chamber rises, so that the injection nozzle needle (9) is moved into closed position. The connection pipe simultaneously acts as the single fixed throttle, which is active during all fuel pressures.
