PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the simplified seedling bed capable of growing the seeds of a plant at a stable germination rate and in stable growth efficiency. SOLUTION: This simplified water culture seedling bed 6 containing seeds comprises seed-containing simplified seedling beds each obtained by inserting the seeds into an organic fibrous cotton-like bundle and subsequently winding the cotton-like bundle with a water-soluble paper sheet, and a flat plate-like and lightweight seedling bed support member 7 having fitting holes for fitting and holding the seed-containing simplified seedling beds and used for fitting the seed-containing simplified seedling beds into the fitting holes to hold the seed-containing simplified seedling beds and for supporting the seed-containing simplified seedling beds on the surface of water, when immersed in water. The simplified water culture seedling bed 6 containing the seeds is immersed in water or a water culture medium comprising water and liquid manure to perform the water culture of the plant. |
