PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a dielectric porcelain composition and a multilayer porcelain capacitor capable of baking at a low temperature of <=1040 deg.C and keeping average diameter of crystal particles in a small size of <=1.5 μm and having >=20,000 relative permittivity. SOLUTION: This porcelain composition contains 100 pts.wt. main component in which (x), (y) and (z) each satisfy the formulas 51.0<=(x)<=96.8, 3.0<=(y)<=37.0, 0.2<=(z)<=15.0 and (x+y+z)=100 when a composition formula of metal element oxides by molar ratio is represented by xPb(Mg1/3 Nb2/3 )O3 .yPbTiO3 .zA(Cu1/3 Nb2/3 )O3 (A is at least one kind of element among 2a group elements of the periodic table) and 0.1-10 pts.wt. (expressed in terms of CuO) Cu in a perovskite type compound oxide containing at least Pb, Mg, Nb, Ti and Cu as a metal element. |
