PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a flame retardant fiber structure having an excellent antifouling property without generating any harmful substance such as a halogen in burning by covering the surface of a fiber cloth with a thermoplastic resin containing ammonium sulfate and further covering with a thermoplastic resin not containing ammonium sulfate. SOLUTION: This fiber structure is composed of a fiber cloth of polyester- based fibers containing a flame retardant compound and at least the surface of the fiber cloth is covered with more than one kind of thermoplastic resin selected from a polyolefin-based resin, a polyester-based resin, a urethane-based resin and an acrylic resin containing preferably 5 pts.wt. of ammonium sulfate (based on 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic resin) and the surface of the thermoplastic resin is further covered with a thermoplastic resin not containing ammonium sulfate. Preferably, the flame retardant fiber structure is used as wall paper, an interior material, a film material for building, a canvas for a tent or a warehouse, a sheet for building work or a net for a building work. |
